CPI 490 series for Internet billing :
The CPI 490 series activates the computer's
mouse and keyboard once a credit card is
swiped on the small Vx570 terminal. The system
then bills for minutes used at a price set by the
business owner.
The CPI can also monitor and charge for pages
printed by the customer. Up to 4 work stations
(computers) can share the same printer.
For locations where a network printer is used to
print from more than 4 stations, Print Release
Software can be used with a CPI 420 system so
paying with a credit card at the printer can be
done before printing the documents.
The CPI 490 series is ideal for Internet cafés and
Business Centers. The system is hardware
based and can operate with current print release
software.
With all CPI systems, sales are deposited daily
into owner's bank account with no extra royalties
or transaction fees.
